The Ice Drilling Program Office (IDPO)/Ice Drilling Design and
Operations (IDDO) reminds researchers that the National Science
Foundation (NSF) Antarctic Research (Solicitation 10-543) proposal
deadline is 25 May 2010. Any proposal requiring ice drilling or ice
coring support from the IDPO/IDDO must notify them no later than
Tuesday, 13 April 2010.
You will need to download the Field Project Requirement Form, which is
available at: www.icedrill.org/scientists/scientists.shtml. The
completed form should be emailed to: icedrill [at] dartmouth.edu.
Once the IDPO/IDDO receives your Field Project Requirement Form, they
will provide you with a cost estimate and a letter of support that must
be included with your NSF proposal. You should also notify your NSF
Program Manager that your proposal requires support from the IDPO/IDDO.
