Registration is now open for the 6th International Kastelli Symposium,
"Focus on future generations," to be held 20-21 November 2008, in Oulu,
Finland. Organizers seek abstracts for both poster and paper
presentations. The abstract submission deadline is Saturday, 1 November
2008.
The symposium will provide a forum for interdisciplinary interaction and
exchange of knowledge related to ethical questions in the research of
children and elderly people, environmental and climate change as well as
culture, language and society. Participants representing various fields
are warmly welcome to the symposium.
A pre-conference research training course "Climate Change, Global Change
and the Media," will be held 18-19 November at the Kastelli Research
Centre.
The 6th International Kastelli Symposium is part of the International
Polar Year (IPY) scientific program in Finland. More information about
