Reminder, the deadline to submit abstracts to the Ny-Alesund Research
Infrastructure in Svalbard, Norway is Tuesday, 30 September 2008.
European research teams are offered free access (including travel) to
the Ny-Alesund Research Infrastructure in Svalbard, Norway. This is part
of the Transnational Access Programme of the European Community FP6.
Proposals are particularly invited within field of geodesy and space
geodesy. Scientific research proposals are also invited within all other
fields of arctic environmental research, including the following
disciplines:
- Marine and terrestrial biology
- Climate research in the troposphere and stratosphere
- Surface phenomena, snow and ice
- Geodesy and space geodesy
- Air quality research and arctic pollution
- Multidisciplinary environmental sciences
