Travel Assistance Available for Workshop
"Subglacial Antarctic Lake Environments (SALE) in the International
Polar Year (IPY) 2007-2008: Advanced Science and Technology Planning"

Applications are now being accepted for travel assistance to attend the
Subglacial Antarctic Lake Environments (SALE) Workshop that will be held
in Grenoble, France from 24-26 April 2006.
U.S. faculty, researchers, and students are invited to apply for
financial assistance to attend the workshop. Young investigators,
students, and members of underrepresented groups are especially
encouraged to apply.
Selection for a travel grant award will be based on disciplinary
balance, geographical location, level of participation in the workshop,
previous experience and current participation in SALE related
activities, need, and ability to assume some of the travel costs
(match).
