The Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College invites applications for the inaugural Evans Family Professorship in Arctic Engineering. This position will be filled at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level and will be located at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
The successful candidate will have a doctorate in engineering or a related field and will work in an interdisciplinary group focused on ice, climate, and energy. The successful candidate will lead an externally-funded research program in engineering related to the Arctic, including but not limited to: the behavior of ice, snow and permafrost, and developing Arctic-related technologies.
