The Institute of the Environment at Tufts University invites applications for MSc students in Sustainable Water Management (SWM) to begin in September 2018. This 12-month program provides real-world, practical experience and will be located at Tuft University in Medford, Massachusetts.
The SWM program is an intensive one-year professional Master of Science degree that addresses the growing international demand for interdisciplinary water management experts. Through the program's curriculum of four core classes, four track-specific classes, a seminar, and a summer practicum, students develop the skills, expertise, and experience needed to address the challenges and opportunities of sustainable water management.
The Sustainable Water Management program offers four program tracks, including Water Diplomacy; Water, Food, and Energy; Water Infrastructure for Human Settlement; and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in International Development and Humanitarian Response.
Upon admission, students will select one of the four program tracks, which will direct the secondary coursework and summer practicum.
Applicants to the M.S. Program in SWM must have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in any background from the physical sciences to the social sciences.
