The International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic (INTERACT) project announces a call for applications for access to 43 research stations across the Arctic and northern alpine and forest areas in Europe, Russia, and North America. Transnational access will be available between March 2019 and April 2020.
The sites represent a variety of glacier, mountain, tundra, boreal forest, peatland, and freshwater ecosystems. Transnational access includes free access (physical or remote) for user groups or users to research facilities and field sites, including support for travel and logistic costs.
An online webinar will be held on 11 September 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Central European Time. The webinar will provide information about the transnational access call and will answer questions related to the application process, transnational access, and remote access. A link to join the webinar are provided on the Transnational Access/Remote Access Call information page at https://eu-interact.org/accessing-the-arctic/tacall/.
