The interactive and informal webinar focusing on Community & Citizen Science in the Far North was held Tuesday, 30 November 2021. This webinar provided an opportunity to continue the discussions and networking after the recent Community and Citizen Science in the Far North conference that took place online 5–7 October 2021. The webinar was recorded and the archive link will be available soon.
This webinar was designed to continue to share knowledge and increase networking among researchers, community members, and other practitioners of community and citizen science in the circumpolar Arctic. During this interactive and informal webinar, we provided a quick overview of the conference and shared the outcomes. Participants engaged in discussions in breakout rooms to share project updates, network, and discuss mutual topics of interest centered on the four themes from the conference (Unique to the Far North, Data and Evaluation, Just Sharing, Lessons Learned). Outcomes from this webinar included recommendations to continue similar discussions in the future (e.g. webinars, list serves, and conferences).
Registration was required for this webinar, which was free and open to the public.
This webinar is made possible with support by the National Science Foundation under Cooperative Agreement No. PLR-1928794.
