Stockholm SwedenBioPhD in 1983 from Uppsala University, Associate professor 1994 and Professor at Uppsala University 2000. Professor at Stockholm University 2001. Now experimental Arctic meteorologist and Co-Chief Scientist on icebreaker expeditions on the Swedish icebreaker Oden in 2001, 2008, & 2014; published > 100 papers, h-index > 24, and ~10 supervised PhD students; numerous MSc students. Founding member and first Chair of International Study of Arctic Change (ISAC) 2006-2011, member of ECMWF Science Advisory Committee 2006-2013, Sweden's representative in IASC AWG since 2011.
