Primary research interest is in understanding how climate change and variability affects regeneration, productivity, and distribution of boreal tree species in the western Canadian interior. CIPHA (Climate Change Impacts on Productivity and Health of Aspen). BERMS (Boreal Ecosystem Research and Monitoring Sites).
