Current Research: Review of polychaete taxa from SW Greenland (area around Frederikshaab/Paamiut) treated by Otto Fabricius in Fauna Groenlandica (1780) and later papers. These taxa include many species (usually erroneously) believed to be well known or cosmopolitan, such as Capitella capitata, the so-called "pollution indicator" species that has turned out to be a designation applied to many species. I am especially interested in polychaetes of the families Pholoidae, Cirratulidae, and Chaetopteridae.
